PUBLIC RELATIONS / MARKETING INTERNSHIP
We are now accepting applications from enthusiastic and motivated college students for a public relations internship. While this is a remote position (interns can work from home or school) there will be the opportunity for in-person work sessions as well as the opportunity to attend in-person events – such as media events, tv tapings, photo shoots, client meetings as well as professional development opportunities.
Skills you will build include — but are not limited to — media relations, social media, press outreach, copywriting, client-specific research, and media monitoring.
No previous work experience is required, however, knowledge of public relations, copywriting, social media, photography, and graphic design is preferred. The ideal candidate would be familiar with current events, be organized, have great attention to detail, and be able to prioritize while managing multiple projects. This internship provides room to grow and ongoing, individualized feedback.
Qualifications:
Possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field
Have excellent written communication and research skills
Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-orientedReceive college credit
Commit to the position for a minimum of 3-4 months (15 weeks) and be available to work at least 12-15 hours a week.
